Familly iPad Issue Graphic, 2011

To promote the T+L Family iPad Issue,
I was asked to design a graphic for the check-in page. I used visual cues from
the actual Family issue to make it visually consistent—such as the colors and the condensed font.

Global Bazaar Deck, 2011

After compiling/designing the printed
sales deck for the Global Bazaar Event
(lots of image research was involved),
I transported the presentation to the
iPad. We added dynamic elements to
this edition, with audio clips, videos and slideshows, to give the viewers of the
deck a glimpse into what Travel + Leisure is envisioning for the event.

Ad TOC for Family App, 2011

Because of ad placement issues for digital magazines on the iPad, we
decided to create an Advertiser TOC that would be placed at the beginning of the issue so that consumers could tap the
ad thumbnail and jump directly to the ad. This way all advertisers are given priority. I conceptualized and designed this page taking visual cues from Edit.

Under my Art Director's guidance, this is the second Advertiser TOC that has been created for the T+L issues. Download

T+L Advertiser TOC, 2011

Mexico Ad in Romance issue, 2011

Using the ad that ran in our magazine as a base, I created this interactive ad for the iPad. The features include an in-app browser, a slideshow and a video.

T+L Ads for F&W iPad App, 2010/11

The T+L Design Studio create T+L House Ads to run on the F&W iPad Apps in order to promote for our next issue. We work closely with Edit for copy and design an ad with a scrollable content area so one can view sample pages from the upcoming app.

T+L Holiday Card, Nov-Dec 2010

I was given the opportunity to fully manage the holiday card for 2011, from conceptualizing to printing. I had the cards printed on uncoated stock and
after many color palette choices, decided on some great metallic colors.

Front: "Extraordinary People have Extraordinary Wish lists." On the inside, there is a post it note that has post it adhesive on the back that can be used and reused many times. This is meant to be filled in by whoever receives this card. My co-worker, Philip Schumacher, did the handwriting.

Pepcid Food Truck, 2010

As a thank you to Pepcid, Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure decided to put together a package including a food truck with a roof label with our logos, as well as a double-sided tweet cheat sheet with all of the top food trucks around the city--both sweet and savory. We then packaged the gift in a see-through foil envelope.

Issey Miyake Room Drops, 2010

Along with Art Director Jill Sabato, I conceptualized a packaging idea for
a room drop for Issey Miyake. The components were: a perfume sample,
a pamphlet, and a letter from our publisher--each custom-written per
hotel. These dropped in three different hotels around the country.

All three elements were placed in a
muslin bag that we had stamped. We really loved getting these together.

TAAB Chicago E-vite, 2010

For our TAAB Chicago event in October, the VP/Publisher and the Editor-in-Chief
of Travel + Leisure hosted a Private Cocktail Reception at the Elysian Hotel. This was the e-vite that went out.

World's Best Party 07/21/10

For 15 years, Travel + Leisure allows
their readers to cast their votes for
the top hotels, destinations, airlines, cruises, outfitters, and transportation companies in the world.

On July 21st, T+L threw a party in NY
at the Andaz Hotel in honor of these winners. My boss and I put together all the collateral that you see here, from napkins and menus to carpets and iPad presentations etc.

Vacationist Inbook Ad, 2010

Travel + Leisure, along with luxury
travel site Luxury Link, launched an invitation-only, private sale travel
website for luxury travelers called Vacationist. This is an inbook ad promoting the new website. The

The Amex Pub.-owned magazine,
Travel + Leisure, along with luxury
travel site Luxury Link, launched an invitation-only, private sale travel
website for luxury travelers called Vacationist. This site offers limited-
time offerings to members at top
hotels. My logo was chosen for
the identity of the site.
