I was inspired by some chalk art I've
been seeing recently, especially by
Dana Tanamachi.
Artestar hired me to design their holiday card using a quote from the new
Weiwei-isms book edited by Larry Warsh. This is a result of the artist's popularity especially in the past year.
I loved doing another Weiwei-related project after my involvement with the
Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry movie.
We decided to keep the holiday card
type-driven this year. It was printed on
a heavy stock and the color had a
vintage edge.
A reporter at U.S. News interviewed
me to be the profile for the 'Best Jobs
of 2013: Art Director' article. It was an
honor to be asked and featured. I hope this article will inspire several recent graduates to pursue their dreams...

them on the branding and different collateral pieces for their recent Fall
2012 launch.
The label has already received lots of media attention, including a Glamour magazine mention.
